Kwan Yin

Kwan Yin is a duet danced by Ziyian Kwan with her father Lihuen Kwan. Accompanied by the live sound of cellist Peggy Lee, this contemplative work draws from Buddhist tenets and the Heart Sutra of the Kwan Yin, to explore how a father and daughter cultivate patience and compassion in relationship to self, when with the other.

A 7 minute video stream version of the piece is presented by Dancing On The Edge 2020. July 3 at 9pm and July 9 at 7pm. To register:
