truth ache: study #1

truth ache: study # 1 was created in collaboration with David Khang in a ‘pressure cooker’ situation for Brief Encounters at the Anza Club in Vancouver. In David, Ziyian discovered a renaissance man, an artist of many talents who also happens to be a dentist.  Coincidentally, Ziyian had recently had one of her molars extracted and the ensuing collaboration resulted in a quasi pathetic – poignant sketch with the tale of teeth as a metaphor for loss and release.
