In compliance with British Columbia Health regulations and recommendations, Morrow is implementing STRICT COVID 19 Safety Protocols. Protocols will evolve and be updated in alignment with BC Public Health Orders – based on BC’s 4 stages of re-entry. Our protocols may be stricter than what is mandated by BC Public Health Orders. MORROW GALLERY/SHOP VISITOR RULES:
All people wishing to enter the space may be asked to answer questions pertaining to COVID 19 protocols. People with signs of illness may not enter the space. People who have travelled outside of British Columbia in the 14 days prior to visiting Morrow are not permitted into the space. People who have travelled outside of British Columbia in the 14 days prior to visiting Morrow, must have quarantined for 14 days upon returning and received a negative COVID 19 test (after their 14 day quarantine period) – before being permitted entry into the space. People with known or suspected exposure to COVID 19 are not permitted into space. You will be required to provide your name and contact information for contact tracing.
MORROW GALLERY/SHOP VISITORS: Maximum 2 persons/households
Morrow is open for visitors! Please book an appointment so we can ensure there is adequate time to ventilate and disinfect between visitors. If you wish to visit Morrow to browse the collection of artists’ creations or to shop, you will be required to wear a mask in all areas of the space. You may not use the washroom facilities. Hand Sanitizer is mandatory upon entry and prior to handling merchandise. Shoe covers that we provide, or removal of shoes is mandatory upon entry. You will be required to be at a distance of no less than 2 metres from Morrow’s volunteer staff at all times. During your visit windows/doors will be open to aid air flow.
CREATIVE WORK AT MORROW: Maximum 2 artists at a time. Exceptions will be made if the artist requires technical support for video live stream, or for short visits by colleagues. Artists working at Morrow must wear masks AT ALL TIMES IN ALL AREAS. The above mentioned VISITOR RULES apply to individuals who come to Morrow for creative time. To ensure ventilation, windows will be open during your time here. You will be required before leaving to open front and back doors for 1/2 hr, to disinfect all surfaces you have touched with any part of your body. Failure to comply will result in loss of future access to the space. Physical distance of 2 meters minimum is mandatory.
EVENTS AT MORROW: There are currently no in person performance events at Morrow in the physical space. We hope that these restrictions will lift as BC’s moves through its 4 steps of reentry. Virtual events are permitted with a maximum of 2 artists engaged in creative practice in the space. An additional technical person may be added for livestream support. All guests facilitating virtual events must comply with our VISITOR RULES.
IN ADDITION TO THE ABOVE COVID 19 SAFTEY MEASURES, DUMB INSTRUMENT DANCE SOCIETY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DENY ENTRY OR REQUEST VISITORS TO LEAVE – FOR ANY REASON THE SOCIETY DEEMS POTENTIALLY HAZARDOUS WITH REGARDS TO COVID 19.
